Pre - Professional Training Program at Ballets Artémis:
"Cursus Danse Etudes" - 11-14 years old Artemis Academy 14-19 years old

These year-round programs are designed to meet the needs of dedicated students 11-19 years of age, from across France, Europe and abroad, who seek the highest standard of classical ballet education to prepare for a professional career.

Working daily under Sophie Ponthier's artistic direction, and careful guidance, students develop the essential skills to fully explore and achieve their greatest individual potential.

The curriculum is based on the "Ecole Française" (Paris Opera Ballet School Method) as well as ABT National Training Curriculum.
It offers a system of training that is logical, thought-provoking, inspiring and highly effective.

There is great emphasis on the development of a strong ballet technique (including strong pointe technique and most advanced skills such as fouettés turns, italian fouettés, manège and grande batterie), an elegant artistry, a precise musicality as well as stamina and body conditionning.

Along with daily lessons in classical technique, students are immersed in learning the classical repertoire and are exposed to a variety of workshops to develop fluency in various styles of dance.
